First let’s get into the correct product. If you have not used any type of cleaning product or home remedy at all then the Super Mattress Cleaner is appropriate for you.

If you have used any other type of cleaning product or home remedy regardless of how much you used you should use the Urine Pooling product.

Ensure that the product and the mattress are both within the operational parameters of our products. The recommended ratio of cleaning product to urine is one ounce of cleaning product for each ounce of urine. This ratio will always produce the best results.

Set up the sprayer according to our recommendations.

Use a black light. If you do not own one then visit the local Home Depot. Home Depot has an excellent assortment of General Electric black lights.

ProKlean™ products are odorless the more urine you are dealing with the stronger the odor that will be released upon application. This verifies the product is working and will dissipate quickly.

     You should remember the laws of physics when cleaning mattresses of urine or any other bodily fluid. Gravity will always draw the urine deeper into the mattress as it dries. The quantity of urine and the length of time the mattress has been exposed to the urine must be considered before starting the cleaning.

Scenario one is achieving a good general cleaning.

     Spray the appropriate ProKlean™ product evenly coating one side completely. Wait one hour and repeat the process on the other side. Now let the mattress dry and it’s ready to go.

Scenario two is specific to removing urine accidents on you mattress.

     Use your black light to identify any areas that need your attention. Spray the appropriate ProKlean™ product on the stain ensuring that the area is wet and you have achieved good coverage. Wait fifteen minutes and retest with your black light.

     If there has been a significant amount of urine in a given area then we suggest you approach the urine from both sides of the mattress.

     Repeat the mattress cleaning process on the other side visualizing an imaginary line thru the center of your urine accident. Make sure you put enough product on the stain to penetrate the mattress.
